Please note that we currently offer this online application to contractors/trades for utility permits (electrical, gas and plumbing). If you would like to use this service, please come to the Municipal office and bring your master certification or class and journeyman number in order for us to give you a password to access the system. At this time, Builders only have access to request or schedule an inspection as long as you have a password from the City of Chestermere.

We anticipate application for building permits on our online system in the future. For the time being, all building permits and homeowner’s permits must be applied for in person using the application packages found at http://www.chestermere.ca/Index.aspx?NID=507 (link to “how to apply for permits”).

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M..
